September Community Newsletter: Update about Sunday Hours and Successful Summer Stories, Photos, & Videos!

Summer Success!
It has been a great summer in our community! Here are a few stories, photos, and videos that we are excited to share...
Supporting Local Teacher
Early this summer a local teacher, Michelle Brown, come into our K.C. Strings Merriam shop location and asked if we were willing to donate some supplies to the summer camp she would be teaching at. We were happy to help!

Miss Brown informed us there were 105 students gathered from 18 schools in the Lee's Summit, MO district who were either going into 6th or 7th grade.
Through this camp, Miss Brown was excited to have the opportunity to "keep the students motivated on their instruments, teaching them new things and reviewing skills they've already learned and have fun!"

Thank you for coming into our shop, Miss Brown!
K.C. Strings Summer Music Camp
We had such a talented and hardworking group of students this year who sounded like a professional orchestra by the end of the week! Make sure to check out the sample below.

Thank you, Bob Hagenbuch Jr., for all of your hard work and time spent making this camp a success!

K.C Bass Workshop
Every summer we sponsor the K.C. Bass Workshop and get to witness how incredible it really is! It is a time when beginner and professionals, locally and from around the world, come together.

Please do check out the photos and especially the video of bassist Hans Sturm with jazz vocalist Jackie Allen performing a special duet about Kansas City for Johnny Hammil!
